Community Needs Assessment

Every year, a series of public meetings are held to determine the most urgent community needs. The information you provide guides us on how to distribute U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds for housing and community development projects to assist low- and moderate-income residents of our neighborhoods. Funds may be used to expand, maintain or improve the supply of housing; offer human services; promote economic development; and construct or rehabilitate public infrastructure.

Community Needs Assessment - CDBG/HOME Application Workshop

City of Missoula Community Needs Assessment: Tuesday, December 12th, 2017 6pm-7:30pm Missoula Public Library 301 E Main Street, Missoula.

What’s your vision for the future of Missoula? How can we all work together to continue improving our city’s Quality of Life, Housing, and Economic Development?

The City of Missoula Office of Housing and Community Development will accept applications for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program. As part of this process, we want to hear from community members about their priorities for Missoula.

This is your opportunity to share your ideas, wishes and plans for projects in the areas of housing, economic development, public facilities/infrastructure and public services, which may be eligible for funding through the City of Missoula.

The City of Missoula also invites community members to participate in a brief Community Needs Assessment Online Survey. The survey will accept responses until Monday, December 18th, 2017.

City of Missoula CDBG and HOME Application Workshop: Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 10:30am–12pm City of Missoula Council Chambers – Jack Reidy Conference Room 140 W Pine Street, Missoula

Any organization planning to apply for program year 2018 HOME or CDBG funds should attend; the public is also welcome.
