Sunday Streets Missoula | September 7

Dear Northside/Westside Neighborhood Residents,

You may have heard that Sunday Streets Missoula is coming to the Northside this year! All are welcome at this free community event on Sunday, September 7th from 12pm – 4pm. Highlights include live music, local food vendors, fitness classes and tons of fun activities hosted by local organizations.

STREET CLOSURE

The 1-mile route highlighted below will be closed to traffic for the event. All intersections will remain open and managed by volunteers. Additionally, local traffic (1 block or less) will be allowed and managed by volunteers. We’d love to minimize the number of vehicles on the route during the event, but if someone needs to access their residence, we will make it happen!

VOLUNTEER!

Missoula In Motion needs volunteers to make this event happen! Please consider signing up to volunteer from 1:30-4pm. Volunteers are stationed along the route and duties include:

Counting (and welcoming) attendees
Helping vehicles navigate the street closure
Ensuring that activities and participants remain within the Sunday Streets area

BRING THE STREETS TO LIFE!

If you live along the route consider joining in on the fun! It’s a great day to set up a lemonade stand or garage sale; play some music; put out some chalk in the street, etc.!

Request for DEFOE Residents (between Waverly and Holmes): We will have live music set up on your street and are looking for a neighbor who would allow a band to use a power outlet at their residence. Please reach out to mim@missoulainmotion.com if you’d be willing to help us out with this!
