Requesting a Letter for Immigration / Visa
You may obtain a visa / immigration letter by completing the Criminal History Record Check Request (PDF), coming to the Missoula Police Department, and/or mailing the form and $15 record check fee to the address listed below. A copy of your valid government issued photo ID or passport is required. Requests for criminal history and letters for immigration / visa may take five to ten business days to complete. You must be a current resident of Missoula and have resided in Missoula for a minimum of six months in order for this agency to complete a visa / immigration letter on your behalf.
