Requesting Fire Department Records
You may request a copy of fire incident reports, fire investigations, property/occupancy records that include incidents, fire code violations and the most recent fire inspection. EMS patient reports are confidential and require a signed and notarized medical release or a subpoena to release. The fees charged depend on the record you are requesting and are listed on the appropriate request form.
To request a record, please complete this Records Request Form. You will receive a response from the Missoula Fire Department within 10 days of this request (see Missoula Municipal Code Chapter 2.92 – Records & Information Management Program)
