Solar Installations

An electrical permit is required for all solar systems. Plans should clearly demonstrate compliance with the code. Apply for a permit online in the Citizen Access Portal. In the ‘project description’ portion of the online application, describe the project as a ‘rooftop solar installation’ or a ‘ground mount solar installation’ as applicable. Solar installations are considered a ‘change or service upgrade.’
