City Tree Service Request

  1. This form is for publicly-owned trees located in the City right-of-way, generally between the sidewalk and curb. Use it to request tree maintenance or an inspection, report fallen storm debris, or ask a question about a public tree.

    Urgent tree hazards
    If tree debris is blocking a sidewalk or street, or poses an immediate risk to people or property, call 406-552-6255 (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) After hours, please call 911.

    Power line safety
    Never touch anything in contact with downed power lines, including trees. Call 911 or NorthWestern Energy at 888-467-2669.
