What We Do
The Street Maintenance Division uses special machinery to mill off old, damaged pavement and then applies new asphalt to streets that are in need of a complete resurfacing. Streets that have a good base structure can be improved by applying a layer of asphalt, which is called an overlay.

What Should Drivers Do?
For everyone's safety, we ask drivers to:
- Drive slowly and carefully around construction sites,
- Follow all traffic control signs and flaggers, and
- Take an alternate route if possible.
