ENERGIZE YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECT FUNDS

Neighborhood Energizer Grants support resident-initiated projects that improve our neighborhoods and the city as a whole. These projects should facilitate civic cooperation, neighbor engagement, and community building; create real physical improvements to benefit Missoulians; and/or engage in community planning or visioning, all at the neighborhood scale.

Fiscal Year 2024 Energize Your Neighborhood Grant Applications are now available!

  • Tuesday, October 17th, 6pm: Grant Application Workshop (via Microsoft Teams meeting). 
  • Monday, November 13th, 5pm: Deadline for pre-application discussion.
  • Wednesday, November 22, 5pm: Submit the application, budget and schedule! 

Neighborhood Grant Information

The 2024 Grant application is now open!

Each year, the Missoula City Council allocates $20,000 for Neighborhood Project Funds (NPF) for Improvement grants. Small grants are no longer available.

  • Grant recipients are awarded up to $6,000 each.
  • Energize Your Neighborhood Grant projects should enhance the quality of life in our community.
  • The project must be located within city limits and have lasting benefit for city residents.
