Meg Whicher — Recreation Program Superintendent

Program Area: Recreation program leader for all activities and staff

Outside of Work: Meg loves spending time with her husband Ryan and 4-year-old Huck. She enjoys skiing of all types, trail running, mountain biking, reading, and puzzles.

Tess Sneeringer — Recreation Program Manager

Program Areas: Adult Programs, Middle School, Summer Youth Camps, Staff Training Lead

Outside of Work: Tess tries to partake in most of the outdoor activities Missoula has to offer, but when inside she likes to read, cook yummy food, remodel a 100-year-old house, and spend time with her husband, Blair, and their dog, Bucket.

Tyler Decker — Recreation Program Supervisor

Program Areas: Afterschool Adventures Program and staff, Volunteer Program, Vehicle & Facility Manager for Base Camp and ropes course, P&R Safety Committee member, and Rec Program permits

Outside of Work: Tyler is a ceramicist and operates a small business selling goods, and he’s a musician with various gigs each month, and most importantly is a dad of two daughters. He loves the work we all do at Missoula Parks and Rec and commutes 90 miles round trip every day to be part of the important community services we provide.

Nonie Cobb — Recreation Programs Supervisor

Program Areas: Youth sports and Summer Camp Adventure Programs

Outside of Work: Nonie loves to get outside with her dog Rika either hiking, backpacking, or biking. She also loves to spend time in her garden.

Molly Blair — Recreation Program Specialist

Outside of Work: Molly loves watching her two boys play hockey, and loves to hike and bike with her dogs – plus anything else outside!

Eileen McQuillan — Recreation Program Specialist

Outside of Work: Eileen enjoys singing in the Missoula Community Chorus, running, cooking, and spending time with their partner and their cats.

Joe O'Brien — Recreation Program Specialist

Program Areas: CS Porter & Jefferson Middle School Program Lead, contracted programs, and special events 

Outside of Work: Joe can be found fishing & rafting in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, cooking delicious meals with his partner Mary, or spending quality time with their dog Pika.

Matt Mulcaire-Jones — Recreation Program Coordinator

Outside of Work: Matt loves board games, reading, and rafting whenever he can! Also, his cat, Butchy Cat!

Kinsee Gaillard — Recreation Program Specialist

Program Area: Lowell Afterschool Program Lead

Outside of Work: Kinsee tries to be an expert at nothing and a dabbler in every craft she can. Current talents include crochet, mosaic tiling, embroidery, baking, and painting.

Brandon Murak — Play Specialist

Program Areas: Franklin Elementary School Early Literacy Classroom Support, Franklin Afterschool Facilitation and Program Planning, Skate Camp Facilitation

Outside of Work: Brandon is a musician and filmmaker. He enjoys skateboarding, playing ice hockey, and backpacking with his partner Erynn!

Amber Van Blarigan — Play Specialist

Program Areas: Russell Elementary School Early Literacy Classroom Support, Afterschool Adventures Facilitation and Program Planning, and Reach More All Abilities Camp Coordinator

Outside of Work: Amber considers it a privilege to work with Missoula’s youth and adaptive children on the job, and outside of work loves to spend time with her family as they work together on wildlife management.
Aidan Dahler — Play Specialist

Program Areas: Hawthorne Elementary Early Literacy Classroom support and Franklin Afterschool Program facilitation and support.

Outside of Work: Aidan loves to do anything outdoors, and he loves to make all sorts of art, cook meals with his friends, and snuggle his cat, Pumpkin.
